Don't Doubt The Dog!

Yet Another Thing Humans Can Learn From Dogs

I greet my human family and friends with the same unbridled joy, enthusiasm and love whether I haven’t seen them for 1 minute, 1 hours, 1 day or 1 year.  My observation of most humans is they reserve that type of greeting for special occasions or after a longer period of separation.  As the occasion becomes less special or the period of separation the greeting becomes less enthusiastic until it gets down to “Will you get out of the way.  You are blocking the television.”

I do that too – jump for joy and make fuss, but my Dad is on crutches, so I’ve been taught not to jump up against him. To show him how much I missed him, I dance the Poodle Jig on my hind legs, wagging my tail.
