Don't Doubt The Dog!

The other day I took a ride with my human mom and dad to pick up my human sister who was at a Girl Scout Jamboree.  It was held on an old farm.  I was all excited walking in the grass and sniffing here, there and everywhere.  However when I arrived home and had to walk on a hard wood floor it was agony.  My feet were sending shock waves of pain throughout my body.  I started gnawing at my feet.  My mom noticed me limping around and came to the rescue.  She picked me up and turned me over (how embarrassing) and patiently pulled and cut out these spiny things called burrs.  Finally when she finished and I was placed gently down on the floor I was all fine.  Moms are wonderful aren’t they.
